Cupcake & Macaron Tour of DC

Another #SpontaneousSpring bucket list item checked off this weekend. Back when I was feeling adventurous in April, I found a Groupon for this tour. The only other person I know that loves chocolate/anything sweet is my cousin, so I invited him and his girlfriend to join ze Boyfriend and I.

The tour was pretty awesome. Got samples from six cupcake/macaron shops in the span of two hours. Our tour guide (totally forgot her name, but she was great) was a spy/history buff so she stopped at a few historical landmarks and shared tid-bits about the area. I highly recommend this activity if you love sweets or can snag a coupon for it. We ended up paying $16 each (thanks Groupon!); a steal being that it’s normally $50 per person.
